Malaysia's natural rubber stocks at the end of September totaled 143,462 metric tons, up 3.3% on year, according to Malaysia's Department of Statistics Friday.
Natural rubber production in September fell 27% on year to 77,203 tons. On month, output was up 3.4%.
The natural rubber output estimate for August was revised to 74,679 tons, data from the department showed.
Natural rubber exports in September fell 43% on year to 47,291 tons, while imports rose 54% to 59,760 tons.
Domestic consumption of natural rubber declined by 2% on year to 37,426 tons
China, the biggest buyer of Malaysia's natural rubber, bought 12,612 tons followed by buyers in Germany and South Korea, which purchased 7,671 tons and 2,961 tons, respectively.
