[26 Jan] Thailand January-November Natural Rubber Output Down 4%

Global supplies of natural rubber remained tight with all major producing regions except China and Vietnam showing a decline in production in 2009, the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries said Monday.

Production in Thailand is estimated 4% lower on year during the January-November period. In Indonesia, production during the January to October period was put 5.9% lower on year.

Malaysia's production fell 22% in 2009 and that of India by 7.3%, the ANRPC said.
