Rubber export prices up 88 percent

Rubber export prices have rocketed to a record high over the past two years to reach US$2,520 per tonne, an increase of nearly 88 percent from the same period last year, announced the Vietnam Rubber Association.
Rubber prices are expected to rise until the end this month due to the scarity of supply from world producers.
Vietnamese businesses will continue to boost export during the new rubber harvest in May and June.
