[23 Feb] C-Com February Rubber Expires At Y300/Kg; 13 Lots Delivered


The February ribbed smoked sheet rubber 3-grade futures contract on the Central Japan Commodity Exchange expired Monday at Y300 a kilogram, with 13 lots tendered.

The expiry price was Y5 higher than the previous settlement and Y12.1 higher than the January expiry price of Y287.9/kg.

Futures commission merchant Okato Shoji Co. was the highest delivery maker, selling 10 lots. Okachi Co. and Orion Koeki Co. purchased five lots each.

One lot of rubber is equivalent to five metric tons.
